What Is Happening To Your Personal Data

Elsevier Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy and the personal data collected from you. For more information please read the current BioMedNet Privacy Policy.

After BioMedNet has closed we would still like to contact you regarding further relevant products and services from Elsevier Ltd, its afiliates or on behalf of third party services. If you have already registered to receive these alerts and wish to continue receiving them then you do not have to do anything. We will retain your email address and will provide you with a service for opting out with each alert.

If you have registered for these alerts and do not want to recieve any further mailings from either Elsevier Ltd, other Elsevier affiliates or third party services using our new alerting hub then please do so here. You can also subscribe to these alerts from the same place.

In order to confirm your identity and to protect your privacy we'll ask you to login to manage your e-mail alerts and personal profile. Login with the e-mail address we used to contact you and use your BioMedNet username as your password.

What Is Happening To Your Email Alerts

Most of the section and resource alerts that you may have signed up to on BioMedNet will have ceased by the June 30. You do not need to unsubscribe from these alerts.

The alerts that will cease are: Gateway Alerts (see below for exceptions); Journal eTOCs; Reviews Subject Alerts and Virtual Journal Alerts. Weekly News and Research Update alerts have already ceased.

If you subscribe to either the BioMedNet Magazine or the Drug Discovery, Neuroscience or Infectious Diseases Gateway alerts these will continue to be sent through Elsevier Ltd. If you wish to continue receiving these alerts then you do not need to do anything. We will retain your email address and will provide you with a service for opting out with each alert. If you wish to unsubscribe from any of these alerts using our new alerting hub please do so here.

Those with institutional subscriptions to ScienceDirect can use the Save Search Alert facility to replace their BioMedNet Reviews Subject and Virtual Journal Alerts.

Run your search and select 'Save Search', or 'Save as Search Alert' located at the top of your results screen
