Where can I access full-text of my subscribed journal?
Online access to your personal subscription - for all Trends, Current Opinion
and Drug Discovery Today journals - is now available on another Elsevier
platform, powered by ScienceDirect providing you with unparalleled reliability
and functionality.
What are the advantages of the new system?
The new online access site offers the convenience and flexibility of managing
your journal subscription directly from one place. You can access full-text,
search, browse, set up an alert, and cancel or renew your subscription all
from one page.

Do I have to claim online access on the new platform?
Yes. To protect your privacy we will not be transferring your personal data
to the new site powered by ScienceDirect. Instead we ask you to visit and
register directly with them to claim your online journal access. This is
one-time only, takes just a few minutes and is free.
How do I do this?
Follow these steps to activate your online subscription
Click on the url below of the journal you want
to activate.
- 1. Input your 'subscription
key' number. You can find this unique 8-digit number on the address
sheet that accompanies your journal in the mail.
- 2. Reaching the
"activate user account page" enter your details in the boxes provided
and then choose a password. You will be automatically issued with a
username. This username and password will grant you access to full-text
of your journal. When complete click on the blue "done" button.
- 3. The next page
confirms the username that you have been assigned. This is case sensitive
and must be typed exactly as shown. You will also be sent an email reminder
of this username.
- 4. To go to your
journal online now click on the blue 'login' button.
- 5. On this login
page input your new personal subscriber username and password.
- 6. You have now
reached the home page of your journal. From here you can browse or search
issues using the buttons as the top of the screen.
- 7. To set up a
Table of Contents email alert click the blue "browse" button. Check
the "Alert me when new Journal Issues are available" box on the right
hand side of your screen then click 'submit'.
- 8. Once you have
claimed your access you do NOT need to repeat this process. Simply go
direct to the journal site and login as normal.

What is happening to my email Table of Contents
Alert?
From June these will no longer be mailed from BioMedNet. When you claim
your online access you can set up a Table of Contents Alert for your journal.
